The Celestron Omni XLT Series combines a stable CG-4 equatorial mount with high-quality optics to deliver sharp, detailed views for both beginning and experienced astronomers. Its precision optical design uses aspheric shaping technology combined with hand-figured optics to minimize spherical aberration, helping produce clearer and more accurately rendered images across the field of view. To further improve optical performance, the Omni XLT series incorporates Celestron’s renowned StarBright XLT multi-coating system. These advanced coatings increase light transmission through the optical system, allowing more light to reach your eye for brighter, higher-contrast views of celestial objects.
