Smooth Pan Head and Quick-Release Plate

The two-way fluid pan head allows smooth movement with a single handle, while two conveniently positioned knobs let you adjust pan and tilt tension. The quick-release plate features a standard 1/4"-20 thread mount for easy equipment attachment. It also functions as a balance rail to help position your optical equipment properly. A built-in safety mechanism prevents the plate from sliding completely out of the pan head unless the release button is pressed.

Adjustable Aluminum Legs

The Regal Tripod features durable, four-section aluminum legs with convenient flip-lock levers for quick height adjustments. Each leg offers three adjustable angles, allowing you to maintain a stable setup on uneven terrain.

Flexible Height and Added Stability

The adjustable center column extends the tripod to nearly 69 inches tall, or 59 inches with the column lowered. A retractable balance hook beneath the column lets you hang a backpack or other weight to improve stability, especially in windy conditions.

Two legs feature padded wraps for comfortable carrying and easier handling in cold weather. The retractable spiked feet can switch between rubber and spike contact by turning the rubber pads, providing better traction on different surfaces.
