Celestron PowerSeeker 60AZ Refractor Telescope

Explore the wonders of the night sky and the world around you with the Celestron PowerSeeker 60, a versatile refractor telescope designed for both terrestrial and celestial viewing. Its portable design makes it easy to take along for observing sessions wherever your adventures lead. With its 60mm aperture, the PowerSeeker 60 provides enjoyable views of the Moon, planets, star clusters, and brighter deep-sky objects such as the Orion Nebula and Andromeda Galaxy. During the day, the erect-image star diagonal produces correctly oriented views, allowing the optical tube to double as a convenient spotting scope for terrestrial observation. Setting up the PowerSeeker 60 is quick and straightforward. The telescope and its accessories can be assembled in just a few minutes, even for first-time users. Its adjustable tripod legs let you customize the telescope's height or position it on suitable raised surfaces such as a picnic table, providing added flexibility for different observing locations.

Manual Alt-Azimuth telescope

Navigate the sky with a pan handle Alt-Az control with clutch for smooth and accurate pointing. Move the clutch in an up/down, left/right fashion to track your object in the eyepiece.

Accessories Included

The PowerSeeker 60 comes with two eyepieces (20mm and 4mm), erect image diagonal, finderscope, and a Barlow lens. The two eyepieces offer different magnifications to view your intended object. The 3x Barlow lens triples the magnifying power of each eyepiece. The erect image diagonal allows for right-side-up viewing ideal for terrestrial subjects but can also be used for celestial objects. The finderscope will help you quickly center an object in your eyepiece for easier observing.
