Celestron 114 LCM Newtonian Reflector Telescope

Featuring a 114mm parabolic primary mirror with highly reflective aluminum coating, this computerized reflector telescope delivers detailed views of the Moon and planets while providing enough light-gathering capability to explore objects far beyond our solar system. The 114LCM can reveal a wide variety of celestial targets, including binary stars, star clusters, galaxies, and nebulae, making it a versatile platform for beginners who want to explore more than just the brightest objects in the night sky. This complete observation system includes a motorized fork mount, NexStar+ computerized hand controller, two eyepieces, and a red-dot finderscope, providing everything needed to begin observing. At the center of the system is the feature-rich NexStar+ controller, which includes a database of more than 4,000 celestial objects and allows you to add up to 99 custom objects. Its computerized GoTo system provides multiple alignment options, including Celestron’s intuitive SkyAlign technology. To use SkyAlign, simply enter the date, time, and observing coordinates. The system then determines the appropriate positions of three prominent celestial objects. Center each object in the eyepiece when prompted, and the telescope completes its alignment, giving you computerized GoTo access to the night sky. Not sure what to observe? The built-in Sky Tour and Constellation Tour functions can guide you toward interesting objects currently visible overhead or within your favorite constellation.
