Quick-Release Mounting Plate

The quick-release mounting plate makes it easy to attach compatible optical and photographic equipment. Its wide, padded platform accommodates binocular adapters, spotting scopes, cameras, and other accessories. The platform tilts up to 90 degrees and locks securely at the desired angle. A built-in safety mechanism helps prevent the plate from accidentally sliding out of the pan head.

Adjustable Center Column

The telescoping center column provides extra height when needed and can be adjusted using the locking knob. When fully extended, the tripod reaches a maximum height of just under 67.7 inches. A retractable balance hook beneath the center column allows you to hang a heavy item, such as a backpack, to improve stability in windy conditions.
