Celestron Ultima Edge Eyepiece - 2" 30mm

The Celestron Ultima Edge 30mm Eyepiece features flat-field optics designed to deliver sharp, clear images from the center to the edge of the field of view. Its nine-element optical design and fully multi-coated lenses maximize light transmission for bright, detailed views. With a generous 70° apparent field of view, this low-power eyepiece is ideal for observing deep-sky objects, star fields, and the Moon’s surface.

Durable Design and Comfortable Viewing

The eyepiece features a high-grade machined aluminum housing with a black-anodized finish for durability. Its 2-inch threaded barrel accepts compatible 2-inch filters and adapters and fits standard 2-inch star diagonals and focusers. A specially designed molded rubber grip provides secure, slip-resistant handling during observing sessions. With 22mm of eye relief and comfortable rubber eyecups, the Ultima Edge 30mm offers a comfortable viewing experience for users with or without eyeglasses.

Convenient Parfocal Design

Ultima Edge eyepieces are designed to be parfocal, allowing you to switch between compatible eyepieces in the series with little or no additional focusing. This makes it easier to move between magnifications and spend more time observing.

Note: The Ultima Edge 24mm is not parfocal. Parfocal compatibility applies only within the Ultima Edge series and does not guarantee that focus will be maintained when switching to eyepieces from other brands or series.
