Celestron X-Cel LX Eyepiece - 1.25" 5mm

The Celestron X-Cel LX Series Eyepieces feature a 60° apparent field of view, making them ideal for observing the Moon, planets, and a wide range of deep-sky objects. Their premium six-element optical design uses multiple layers of high-transmission coatings to deliver clear, sharp images with enhanced contrast. Blackened optical edges help reduce internal reflections for improved viewing quality. All seven X-Cel LX eyepieces provide 16mm of eye relief for comfortable viewing and feature a parfocal design, allowing you to switch between eyepieces in the series with little or no additional refocusing.

Comfortable Design and Construction

The eyepiece body is crafted from black-anodized aluminum for durability. Adjustable pop-up eyecups can be extended for added comfort or retracted to create a flatter viewing surface, making them suitable for users who wear eyeglasses. A threaded rubber grip around the center of the barrel provides secure, slip-resistant handling, even in damp conditions or when wearing gloves. The 1.25-inch threaded barrel accepts compatible filters, giving you greater flexibility for astronomical observations.
