Celestron 2" Mirror Diagonal with XLT

The Celestron 2-inch Mirror Diagonal is an essential accessory for astronomers who want to use 2-inch eyepieces with their compatible telescopes. Its larger barrel allows more of the telescope’s light cone to pass through, making it especially useful for wide-field viewing and observing faint deep-sky objects with low surface brightness. Designed for optical performance, the diagonal features a precision-machined housing that helps maintain optical alignment. Its mirror is interferometer-tested and guaranteed to be 1/10 wave or better. The mirror also features Celestron’s high-performance XLT coatings, helping deliver sharp, bright images for detailed observations. The diagonal threads securely onto the rear cell of standard Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. To use 2-inch eyepieces, simply insert the eyepiece into the diagonal’s barrel and secure it. For 1.25-inch eyepieces, use the included 2-inch-to-1.25-inch adapter and tighten the thumbscrew. For added protection and convenient storage, the Celestron 2-inch Mirror Diagonal comes with an aluminum case, helping keep the accessory safe when not in use.
