Celestron 3x - 1.25” – X-Cel LX Barlow Lens

The Celestron X-Cel LX 3X Barlow Lens triples the magnification of compatible 1.25-inch eyepieces when inserted between the eyepiece and telescope. It is an excellent accessory for short, fast telescopes and is especially useful for increasing magnification during lunar and planetary observations under favorable atmospheric conditions. Its apochromatic, fully multi-coated optics provide excellent color correction, sharp images, and enhanced contrast.

Durable Design and Secure Grip

The Barlow lens features a black-anodized housing with orange accents to complement the Celestron X-Cel LX eyepiece series. A central rubber grip ensures secure, comfortable handling, even in cold conditions or when wearing gloves. An integrated brass compression ring gently but firmly secures the eyepiece when the thumbscrew is tightened. This design provides a reliable hold while helping prevent scratches on the eyepiece barrel.

Filter Compatibility

The 1.25-inch threaded barrel accepts compatible 1.25-inch filters, allowing you to keep a filter attached to the Barlow lens when changing eyepieces without repeatedly removing and reinstalling it.
