With its large aperture, advanced optics, and robust computerized mount, the CGX 1100 HD is designed for astronomers who demand high performance while retaining the flexibility to transport their telescope to darker skies. Despite its impressive size, the optical tube assembly weighs just 28 lbs., making the CGX 1100 HD portable enough for trips to dark-sky locations. Its larger aperture provides a substantial increase in light-gathering capability, delivering 89% more light than an 8-inch telescope and 40% more than a 9.25-inch telescope for enhanced views of a wide range of celestial targets. For astrophotography, the CGX mount provides a sturdy, heavy-duty platform engineered to support demanding imaging setups. Its smoother belt-drive system contributes to precise and reliable operation, while electronic and ergonomic features are designed with worry-free remote operation in mind. Advanced software further expands the mount’s capabilities, giving experienced imagers the tools needed for sophisticated astrophotography workflows.

Features

11" HD Optical Tube Assembly

CGX EQ Mount and Tripod

Celestron’s premium StarBright XLT coatings provide maximum light transmission

A 9x50 finderscope, 2” mirror diagonal for more comfortable viewing, and wide-angle 23mm Luminos 2" eyepiece are all included
