Celestron PowerSeeker 50AZ Refractor Telescope
Explore the sky and the world around you with the Celestron PowerSeeker 50, a compact and versatile refractor telescope designed for both terrestrial and celestial viewing. Its portable design makes it easy to take along for observing sessions wherever your adventures lead.Ā At night, the PowerSeeker 50 allows you to explore the Moon, planets, star clusters, and brighter deep-sky objects such as the Orion Nebula and Andromeda Galaxy. For daytime observation, the erect-image star diagonal produces correctly oriented views, allowing the optical tube to double as a convenient spotting scope for terrestrial targets.Ā Getting started is quick and straightforward. The telescope and its accessories can be assembled in just a few minutes, even during your first observing session. The adjustable tripod legs allow you to customize the telescope's height or position it on raised surfaces such as a picnic table, giving you greater flexibility when choosing where to observe.
Manual Alt-Azimuth telescope
Navigate the sky by moving the telescope up/down, left/right fashion to track your object in the eyepiece.
Accessories Included
The PowerSeeker 50 comes with four eyepieces (20mm, 12mm, 4mm, and 1.5x image erecting eyepiece),Ā star diagonal, finderscope, and a 3x Barlow lens. The four eyepieces offer different magnifications to view your intended object. The 3x Barlow lens triples the magnifying power of each eyepiece. TheĀ star diagonal allows for right-side-up viewing ideal for terrestrial subjects but can also be used for celestial objects. The finderscope will help you quickly center an object in your eyepiece for easier observing.
